Inkpress does not collect your personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. Everything the app stores stays on your device.
Nothing. Inkpress has no server of its own, no account system, and no sign-in. It does not collect, transmit, or store personal information about you, and there is no analytics, telemetry, crash-reporting, advertising, or tracking SDK in the app.
This data lives only in the app's own storage on your device. It is not sent anywhere, and it is not readable by the developer. Deleting Inkpress removes all of it.
Inkpress connects directly to the feeds you subscribe to in order to download them — there is no intermediary server operated by Inkpress. As with any feed reader or web browser, the operator of each feed's server can see the requests their own server receives, including your IP address and the standard request headers your device sends.
Opening an entry displays the article body published in the feed. If that article references images or other resources hosted elsewhere, your device requests them from those hosts as it renders the page, in the same way a browser would. Every server involved is operated by a third party and is governed by its own privacy policy, not this one.
On first launch, Inkpress subscribes to one default feed so the app is not empty. You can remove it at any time from the feed list, exactly like any feed you add yourself.
Inkpress does not share, sell, rent, or transfer personal data to anyone, because it does not collect any.
Inkpress is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Because no personal data reaches the developer, there is nothing held about you to access, correct, export, or delete. The data on your device is entirely under your control: remove individual feeds inside the app, or delete the app to erase everything it stored.
This policy describes the version of Inkpress currently on the App Store, which is a read-only feed reader. Inkpress is being extended with optional publishing features that would involve signing in to an account. If and when those ship, this policy will be updated to describe what that account stores, and the changes will apply only to the release that introduces them.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
